How Our Pet Fence System Works

The containment system gives your pet the freedom to safely explore the surroundings within a specified hidden boundary. The system works by sending a radio signal from a transmitter to a receiver collar worn by the pet.
1. Determine the Layout of Your Fence
The pet containment system is completely customizable to any shape of property and can be used to keep your pet away from off-limit as areas such as gardens or pools. Choose a great layout that works for you and your dog.
2. Select a Transmitter Location
The wall mount transmitter is your pet's fence controller center. The transmitter sends a radio signal through the fence wire. The transmitter needs to be located in a dry, indoors area such as a garage or utility room. The radio signal strength can be adjusted to radiate up to 15 feet from the wire to allow protection of flowerbeds and walkways; 4-6 feet being optimal for training.
3. Receiver/Collar
The light receiver worn on the pet's collar. The receiver has a Contact points that touch your dog's neck. The receiver picks up the radio signal being radiated by the wire as the pet nears it.
The receiver first warns him with an audible tone as your dog approaches the boundary warning zone. If he continues towards the boundary wire, the receiver will give him a brief, harmless level electrical correction delivered through the contact points. The correction is meant to get his attention, but will not cause harm, discouraging him/her from crossing the boundary, until he returns to the Pet Area.
